Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a social media officer located in Lagos State, Nigeria. The social media officer will develop and execute content plans, monitor engagement, and analyze performance metrics to help a brand increase visibility, connect with its audience, and support business objectives like sales or customer retention.
Qualifications
Develop and implement social media strategies to align with business goals
Create, schedule and publish engaging content across social media platforms
Collaborate with other marketing experts to develop cross-channel assets
Monitor and respond to comments, messages and mentions to foster community engagement
Leverage social media trends to gain traction and amplify following
Ensure all assets are on brand and in line with company values and goals
Set, monitor and react to information gleaned from key performance indicators (KPIs)
Manage social media advertising budgets
Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes and best practices
Manage social media tools and platforms used for scheduling, listening and analytics
